Sports Shooter Academy

Welcome to SportsShooterAcademy.com

Welcome to the home of THE coolest sports photography event of the year, the Sports Shooter Academy.

This site will be the primary place for news and information about the SSA workshops, but it will also be much, much more. SportsShooterAcademy.com will feature new educational content, regular blogs from faculty and staff, videos, updates on workshop alums, contests and how-to’s.

Our goal is to extend and share The Academy experience with cool and fun educational material.

SportsShooterAcademy.com will also be the home of material generated during the workshops, including galleries of the photographs and updates on what is going on during the week.

The Sports Shooter Academy is a hands-on, shooting workshop that gives participants an opportunity to shoot real sports events with the guidance of an award-winning faculty of working photojournalists. The workshop and this workshop would not be possible without the help and dedication of the faculty and staff.

Very well done video. Having attended the workshop in the past I was reliving it during the video. I especially like how it seemed a few attendees were a constant throughout the video. We could see their reaction to the workshop and their personal takeaways from attending. Great job Bert, Myung, Matt and everyone.

great video. The emotions that it brings up are the same that I experience each time I shoot sports. It’s a taste that you can’t get out of your mouth.

I hope to take part in one of these fantastic workshops one day.
